„The major advantage of Jarraff for working on power lines is the high-strength, insulated fiberglass boom arm. This provides di-electric protection of up to 50 kV for the vehicle and the operator. With Jarraff, we can therefore cut power lines in low and medium-voltage networks without any problems, even under power. We were also impressed by the performance of 2-3 kilometers per day. That is a much higher performance than what we were previously able to achieve with the lifting platform and chainsaw.“

„About 5 years ago, we were contacted by a wind turbine operator in Baden-Württemberg with a request to come to the southwest with our Jarraff at short notice. The transportation of the wind turbines was planned for the following week. The teams with lifting platforms were not able to clear the access road quickly enough. We then drove to the site with our "giraffe" on the low-loader and cut the clearance profile of the access road in a two-day operation. This meant that the wind turbines could be delivered to their destination as planned.“

„In conventional route maintenance, we have so far primarily relied on tree climbers or the use of mobile lifting platforms for pruning with chainsaws. This is very time-consuming and, above all, extremely cost-intensive. As a rule, teams of 3-4 employees are required, who, depending on the vegetation and terrain, often cannot manage more than a few hundred meters of line per day. In addition, working at great heights is always a safety risk, and adverse weather conditions in the winter months add to this. Jarraff is therefore the ideal alternative for us!“
